What does “not verified” mean?

Some accommodation units published on Rentalia bear the “not verified” warning. What does this mean?

These accommodation units have been published for less than 12 months on Rentalia and the owner has not yet verified the address of the published property. We therefore recommend proceeding with caution.

If you are looking for more security, we have created the “Sin Sorpresas” [No Surprises] insurance policy in collaboration with Europ Assistance to protect your rental and your holiday.
