How can I charge the remaining amount for an online booking?

If you have created a property through Rentalia and we have activated the Special Plan in AvaiBook, by default we will have set the remaining balance of the booking to be charged automatically, using the guest’s bank card, 7 days before the check-in date.
We will send you this amount 48 hours after the check-in date or, if the anti-fraud guarantee is inactive, when the Cancellation Policy set for the property expires.

What if there is a problem with the charge?

The payment policy is shown at the time of booking and is also included in the confirmation voucher we send to the guest, so unexpected issues are unlikely.
However, if we have notified you of a failed charge, remember that you have access to a manual card terminal, which allows you to resolve the issue quickly. Here we explain how to manage it.

How can I change the charge for the remaining balance of the booking?

If you prefer to charge the remaining balance yourself, you can change the payment settings at any time from your AvaiBook dashboard.
Please note that any changes made are not retroactive and will apply to all bookings you confirm from that point onwards.

In this case, it will also be your responsibility to contact the guest and make sure they know how and when they must pay the outstanding amount.
